On Saturday afternoon the Band took part in a fundraiser concert ‘Brass of the East for our People in the North’ with 50’s Up Brass, Sumner Silver Band, Steadfast Brass, Red and Black Jazz Band and Jazzamatazz.
It was a full house with a great mix of music.
A big thank you to the Salvation Army Christchurch City for the use of their facilities, and to all the people that organized and ran this wonderful event.
This was a fundraiser for those impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle, with all proceeds going to the NZ Red Cross.
